The big day has arrived for tens of thousands of girls and boys in six federal states: The first day of school is coming up! What are they looking forward to the most? The "Krone" asked around in Styria and Salzburg.

For 12,646 first graders, the school gates open for the first time today in Styria as they start their new phase of life. Six-year-old Enya and Paul from Graz, who is the same age, are also very excited because today they will see their classrooms for the first time and will know where they are sitting and who they are sitting next to.
