Salzburg’s solar rebel wins dispute with authorities

Michael Resch's PV system won an award, but the authorities still demanded its demolition. Now everything is suddenly different - thanks in part to the help of the "Krone" newspaper. 

Michael Resch can hardly stop grinning. "I'm just so happy that it paid off to fight," says the self-proclaimed "solar rebel". A few days ago, the Salzburg native received a decision from the municipality of Anif. It is now clear: Resch can keep his self-built photovoltaic (PV) system. A two-year-long dispute is now over.
