An organic farmer from southern Burgenland wanted to create sustainable guest accommodation on his property while preserving the ecosystem and environment. But the nature conservation authority, of all people, is now putting the thumbscrews on him. He no longer understands the world. 

Lignano, Rhodes, Mallorca: mass tourism not only makes life unbearable for the local population, but usually also for holidaymakers themselves. It is therefore not surprising that more and more Austrians are on the lookout for hidden hideaways in the middle of nature where they can take a break in undisturbed peace and seclusion.
