Styrian election: the parties’ chances

Styria is electing a new state parliament on November 24, and the government is holding out until the last day - similar to the federal government. What are the parties' chances a good five months before the ballot? A lot will depend on September 29.

This is the day of the National Council elections. And the result, but above all the coalition negotiations afterwards and the dynamics within the parties will have an impact on Styria. In the political offices in Graz, two options were considered: a Styrian date close to the federal elections (like Vorarlberg with October 13) or one with the greatest possible distance. As expected by most observers, option 2 was chosen.
