Expenditure is exploding, while income is stagnating: These are tough times for the municipalities in the country - and the outlook is anything but rosy. This will also be felt by the citizens, and the first municipalities are pulling the emergency brake.

We need more kindergarten places! We need a new fire engine! We need support for our club outing! Mayors all over the country are constantly being bombarded with such requests. But fulfilling them is becoming increasingly tricky.
