VW Tiguan: Will the new one also be a bestseller?
Around 7.6 million units sold in two generations speak for themselves: the VW Tiguan is Wolfsburg's bestseller. Of course, there is something at stake when you launch the third edition. The new Tiguan must harvest the combustion engine field while it is still being ordered. The top equipment called R-Line tested here is perhaps not quite as consensual, as in the closely related Passat, the Wolfsburg-based company has gone a little overboard with plastic at the front and rear to give the body a sporty look. But there are four other equipment levels, all of which are somewhat more restrained and more appealing in the long run. And in principle, the Tiguan is a car that can really appeal to everyone.
