Questionable reminder fees, double billing and poor customer service - the apparent chaos at the ORF contribution service is causing a stir in Carinthia.

"All lines are currently busy, please be patient" - a sentence that many Carinthians have to listen to on a continuous loop for minutes on end when they want to reach someone on the ORF customer hotline. Those who don't want to wait are referred to the so-called chatbot, a virtual figure on the homepage that can be asked questions - but which are rarely answered. As in the case of a "Krone" reader.
