Rarely have cyclists been so unhappy about a cycle path as they are about the one in the municipality of Scharnstein in Upper Austria. It was built as part of the construction of the local thoroughfare and has several special features. A "Krone" local inspection.

The patience of many Scharnstein residents has been put to the test over the last two years. The construction of the new through road has dragged on. The project is now complete, but the criticism has not gone away. The new 450-metre-long footpath and cycle path, which was only built on the south side of the B120, has caused some displeasure.
