Why a shortage of medicines is looming again this year

Last fall and winter, certain medicines were difficult or even impossible to obtain. Although the conditions are better this year, the danger has not disappeared. In particular, there are already shortages of some medicines. Why this is the case and what we can do.

Admittedly: We had an exceptional situation last year. For the first time since the pandemic, we had a winter without widespread measures. Viruses and pathogens were able to circulate freely, our immune system was once again defenceless and open to everything. As a result, there were many infections and illnesses - across the entire globe. And even this year, certain antibiotics, painkillers, drugs for cardiovascular diseases, etc. and occasionally cancer drugs are temporarily in short supply. What is the problem?
