How an exiled Carinthian is declaring war on pirates

With a new pirate defense system, a native of Klagenfurt wants to make large ships around the world safe. The inventor encountered a few hurdles at the beginning, but the Carinthian did not let them get him down. He explains the unique invention to the "Krone".

Modern piracy has little to do with the old pirate romance. Today's buccaneers are usually heavily armed, disrupt the movement of goods on the world's oceans and cause immense economic damage. Shipping companies have not yet been able to find a truly secure defense system against pirates - this is now set to change.
