After the scandal at Westbahn Linz, chairman Markus Modrey is deeply resigned. He is particularly angry about the failed integration of the numerous players. Integration expert Sven Janson from Volkshilfe Flüchtlings- und MigrantInnenbetreuung explains how integration can work better on the soccer pitch.

"We live integration, but our values are only being trampled on with incidents like this," says Westbahn chairman Markus Modrey after the scandal in the 1b duel against Steyregg. The eight-league club from Linz has welcomed countless players with a migrant background to the club in recent years, and now players of Austrian descent (two in the entire squad) are far outnumbered.
