Kay-Michael Dankl (KPÖ Plus) is counting on disappointed ÖVP voters in the run-off election and would work as a city leader in a team to reconcile politics and the family life of a young dad.

With 28 percent, Kay-Michael Dankl confidently entered the run-off election for mayor of the city of Salzburg. In two weeks' time, the communist will be battling it out with Bernhard Auinger (SPÖ) for the executive chair at Mirabell Palace. In the "Krone" interview, the 35-year-old talks about the surprising result despite high expectations.
