When it comes to a topic as important as health, voices are raised - those who speak out openly, but also those such as those of employees of the Mistelbach-Gänserndorf Regional Hospital, who have contacted the "Krone" in confidence. The situation is also coming to a head in the care sector: There is certainly no shortage of requests to speak out.

The report about the loss of six out of a total of ten specialists in the ENT department of the Mistelbach regional hospital, including the speculation of a closure, has unsettled many people. After all, this is one of only four such departments at Lower Austria's hospitals. The news has also resulted in numerous calls to the editorial office - including from a hospital employee who wishes to remain anonymous but has a lot to say.
