There has already been massive uproar and resistance in the run-up to the vote, with completely absurd points such as mandatory medical checks for senior citizens alone or a ban on SUVs for young people up to the age of 21 being defeated - as reported by Krone. 100 amendments have now been submitted, but the EU centralization of driver's license guidelines is far from off the table.
