Opposite the Kaprun municipal office, Gswb has built a multi-purpose building, due for completion in May 2022. The prime piece of land is empty and the anger about it is huge.

For months, 3000 Kaprun locals and thousands of tourists have been puzzling over the building opposite the municipal office. Gswb, Salzburg's largest non-profit housing developer, had a multi-storey building completed in Imbachstraße in May 2022. To bring some life to the multi-purpose building, the municipality and tourism association moved the library under the roof in March. Two medical specialists have moved in and there are vacant spaces.
