"After three minutes, the car was on fire" - the courageous lifesaver Fabian Neumitka (26) from Roitham in Upper Austria talks to "Krone" about the anxious minutes of a car accident in Stadl-Paura, in which the life of the driver (40) was saved thanks to his courageous intervention.

Some people are the first to reach for their cell phones to film an accident, others stand by and gawk to their heart's content. Fabian Neumitka (26), a technical project manager from Roitham, is a prime example of how things can be done differently: together with a second driver, he became a lifesaver in an accident on the B 144 in Stadl-Paura when a woman was trapped in her burning car.
