Land transactions in the sights of the Court of Audit

Shifting municipal boundaries, controversial rezoning and political debates - land transactions in Grafenwörth, a small municipality in Lower Austria, caused a great stir nationwide. The municipal supervisory authority and Court of Audit therefore scrutinized all of the municipality's deals over the past 15 years. The "Krone" has the first details of the report now available.

Around two and a half years ago, the "Krone" together with "profil" reported on property deals made by Grafenwörth mayor Alfred Riedl, which triggered discussions. Even ÖVP party colleagues attested that the deals looked "bad". But what was it actually about?
