Vienna's mayor Michael Ludwig is in favor of a new edition of a "grand" coalition. Tyrol's SPÖ leader Georg Dornauer also wants to work with the ÖVP in the federal government - but only on one condition. Who the bridge builders of the black-red comeback are in the background. 

They fought each other for six years - now in their seventh year, the SPÖ and ÖVP are working on reconciliation. The last SPÖ/ÖVP coalition ended in 2019, and while it was considered paralyzing at the time, nostalgic feelings for an ÖVP/SPÖ coalition are once again being nurtured in view of the blue poll emperor Herbert Kickl . Vienna's mayor Michael Ludwig, for example, has recently never tired of recalling the merits of this coalition variant for the Republic.
