The mortuary in Strobl (Salzburg) is due to open in May. By then, a serious problem should have been solved - namely the fact that coffins do not fit through the entrance door. According to the mayor, the Covid pandemic is to blame for the misery.

A small planning error with a big impact! The coffins don't really fit through the doors of the new mortuary in Strobl. The reason for this is curious, as local leader Harald Humer (SPÖ) explains during the "Krone" site inspection: "It's a consequence of the coronavirus pandemic. Two years ago, the decision was made to create a separate entrance and exit."
