During training for the World Championships in Lake Placid (USA), the bobsleigh and skeleton athletes have to contend with temperatures as low as minus 21 degrees. European champion Janine Flock is nevertheless very much looking forward to the title fights in the 1980 Olympic ice track.

Winter sports enthusiasts like it cold, but in Lake Placid, USA, it's currently a bit chilly even for the hardy athletes.
