The death of a top lawyer in the wet Danube grave is still moving. 16 months and two books later, the country's top police officer, Michael Takacs, now comments on rumors that a murder plot was covered up. Until his suspension, he was considered the most powerful civil servant in the Republic: Head of the Justice Section Christian Pilnacek. There are many rumors about his death in a wet Danube grave after a drunken spree in Lower Austria. Now, following the conclusion of the investigation, the investigating authority has clarified: "It must be explicitly stated that there were no injuries that would indicate that he was forcibly held or restrained or that he was forcibly pushed under water."
