Excitement in the social media: we are all supposed to have cortisol levels that are too low and are therefore permanently tired. What's exciting about this is that just a short time ago, according to influencers, our society was overrun by cortisol and we were therefore too fat. What is true now and how? We have asked!
Less than six months ago, there were an increasing number of posts about cortisol on social media: "You're not losing weight? It's because of your cortisol levels", said more and more influencers - none of them experts, mind you. Now the world suddenly looks very different: Because now, according to posts on Tiktok, Instagram and the like, the problem we all have is not too much cortisol, but rather far too little.
