Dream job stunt double: how to let it rip!
They fall from roofs, hurl themselves out of moving cars, run through the picture as a living torch: stunt performers take on scenes that are too dangerous for actors. Pam Forster also uses her body to spice up international series and films. The Viennese tells Krone+ how to become a Marvel heroine, how much courage the job requires - and why her stunt courses are for everyone (in the video above).
"Whoosh!", "Bang!" and "POW!" It sounds like action, a bit like comics and old-school Batman. But it's all part of the show when Pam Forster hands out "slaps", fires "shots" from her hands folded into a pistol or maltreats her opponent with "lightning bolts" from the palms of her hands.
Here, at the Ape Academy, a genuine stunt performer is at work! The Viennese has appeared on the international film sets of "Wonder Woman 1984", "Doctor Strange 2" and "The Marvels" as well as in local productions such as "Tatort" and "Soko Donau". We visited her at her third Basic Stunt Workshop in Vienna-Liesing.
