25 apprentices are being trained at the Mondi plant in Carinthia. The Carinthian paper mill in Frantschach-St. Gertraud is one of the largest training companies for young people in the entire Lavanttal valley. The paper technician apprenticeship is particularly popular. The "Krone" took a look at the plant. 

Mondi in Frantschach-St. Gertraud has already set many historical milestones. For example, when the pulp mill was founded 143 years ago or when the first paper machine moved in 130 years ago. Pulp and kraft paper for sustainable packaging are still produced there today. The Mondi Group operates worldwide, employing as many as 22,000 people at 100 sites in 30 countries.
