Salzburg brothers fuel the e-car revolution

Christian and David Gruber have been in the electric car business for almost ten years. They trade and research, have set a world record and even built their own bus, which they used to climb the Grossglockner. Their personal motivation: "We want to show what is possible."

Christian is a traffic psychologist, David a music school teacher. At least that's what they both used to be. They now earn their money with an electric car dealership in Hallein and the sale of charging boxes. So much for being down-to-earth.

But why are two brothers changing their careers so drastically? "Idealism on the one hand," says David Gruber, "and the will to show what is possible on the other."
