For whom night-time electricity meters will become a luxury from January

The end of the electricity price brake at the end of the year means the end of the financial advantage for anyone who still has a night-time electricity meter for storage heaters, water heaters or heat pumps. The "Krone" asked in Upper Austria for whom the removal of the second meter is worthwhile and what the possible arguments against it are.

With only December left, the electricity price brake is history. And those Austrians who still have a second electricity meter installed will lose a financial advantage. This is because each meter point will be subsidized by the state until the end of 2024 up to a consumption of 2900 kWh per year.
