A hard-fought draw

Chelsea FC and Arsenal shared the points in the London derby. After Gabriel Martinelli gave the Gunners the lead, Pedro Neto rewarded Chelsea for a fighting performance with the equalizer. The draw means that the two city rivals remain level on points in the table after 11 matchdays (19). However, Chelsea are in third place and Arsenal in fourth due to their superior goal difference. 

Chelsea and Arsenal are still in lockstep after the 11th round of the English Premier League. The two teams drew 1-1 in the London derby at Stamford Bridge on Sunday and remain on 19 points. The Blues are just ahead of the Gunners in third, nine points behind leaders Liverpool. Arsenal's Gabriel Martinelli scored first (60'), then Pedro Neto equalized (70').

Manchester United can cheer again
Manchester United gave Ruud van Nistelrooy a fine finish as interim manager. United won their home game against Leicester City 3-0 thanks to goals from captain Bruno Fernandes (17th), Victor Kristiansen (38th/own goal) and Alejandro Garnacho (82nd). Van Nistelrooy took over the team after parting company with Erik ten Hag on October 28 and has won three and drawn one of his four games in all competitions. Ruben Amorim, who was poached from Sporting Lisbon, will take over on Monday.

Ipswich Town celebrated their first win of the season with a 2:1 victory at Tottenham to leave the relegation places. That is where Crystal Palace, coached by Oliver Glasner from Upper Austria, find themselves, having slipped to 18th place following a 2-0 defeat at home to Fulham on Saturday.
