Jugendland association on the brink of bankruptcy as early as 1988

The care of children and young people at Jugendland continues despite bankruptcy. Finances have been a problem for some time, as a newspaper clipping from 1988 leaked to the "Krone" suggests. More than 90 employees will receive an offer from the state, emphasizes the state councillor responsible.

The application for insolvency filed by the non-profit association itself in September was a bombshell. Jugendland has been involved in the care of children and young people from difficult backgrounds for more than 40 years.
