For days, the police have been searching around the clock for Roland Drexler, who allegedly shot two people in the Mühlviertel. A look at the archives shows that there are similar cases in Upper Austria. The convicted murderer Tibor Foco has been on the run since 1995, and there is also no trace of two Mühlviertel residents.

Despite an intensive manhunt, there was still no trace of hunter Roland Drexler on Friday evening. How is that possible? He can't have simply vanished into thin air, think desperate neighbors. A look at the Upper Austrian history books shows that despite intensive searches by the police and years of investigation, it is apparently still possible to remain untraceable.
