A family in a state of emergency! The father of four, Josef Hartl (64), had narrowly escaped death - after a heart attack and several weeks in a coma, he had only recently returned to life. Then the amok hunter stormed into the house. The "Krone" met his grieving brother after the terrible act of bloodshed in the Mühlviertel.

"Nobody thought that Pepi would get back on his feet. But he had made it - and now this." Hans Hartl (66), brother and neighbor of murder victim Josef Hartl (64), appears calm as he talks to the Krone team in his garage. But he says himself: "I have to distract myself with work because what happened is constantly on my mind" - and smears a component with grease on the side.
