This is how hot it is on public transport despite air conditioning

The Viennese are groaning under the heat of the hottest week of the year. First and foremost, however, public transport users. Even in the air-conditioned trains, it is only slightly cooler than in those equipped with air conditioning.

"I change trains twice on my way home. Yesterday, however, all three subway trains I had to use were not air-conditioned. It was simply unbearable," a Viennese woman told the Krone. We wanted to find out just how hot it actually is with a temperature measuring device during the rush hour on Tuesday between 5 and 6 pm.
