TATP: Explosives for terrorists from the hardware store

Following the arrest of two terror suspects who are said to have planned an attack on the Taylor Swift concerts in Vienna, the investigation is in full swing. It is now clear that the 19-year-old was using TATP, the chemicals used by terrorists worldwide, taught by video (see below) and easily available in DIY stores: the background.

The mixture TATP, the scientific name is triacetone triperoxide, is highly explosive. It is not for nothing that it is known as an Islamist explosive. Some also call it the "mother of the devil". The terrorists in Paris used TATP, as did the Brussels hit squad.
