Life without a home game: an everyday occurrence for WSG Tirol
Enthusiasm for WSG Tirol has been limited in all these years in the red-white-red top flight: Five seasons of fighting for every single green and white fan in Watten! But this is hardly successful - above all because the acceptance of the Tivoli Stadium for the WSG audience is extremely low.
"We really don't have it easy," Thomas Silberberger often complained about the Tivoli's fate in his former green-white era, "because we have 32 away games in every Bundesliga season!" And former defensive boss Raphael Behounek (with Willem II Tilburg for a year, promoted to the Eredevisie in the summer) added: "When I got bored now and again during the warm-up, I started counting off the spectators." In the west and south stands - the rest was and will be closed anyway.
