The summer weather is driving up temperatures in Carinthia's lakes. And this not only means that bathing enthusiasts can hardly cool off, but biodiversity is also suffering from the constantly rising temperatures. Whether Carinthia's lakes could "tip over" as a result and why the economy and the state are arguing about Lake Wörthersee.

On hot summer days, Carinthia's bathing lakes beckon with their cool waters. But a dip in the water can quickly come as a surprise. Because there has been no sign of cooling off for a few weeks now.
