Looking into the pitiful eyes of animals on vacation often leads to the desire to help - with a feeding hand or even rescuing them from life on the street. However, good intentions are unfortunately not always good deeds. It is important to recognize what is possible and what really helps the animals on site.

In addition to picturesque beaches and ancient ruins, vacation destinations such as Italy, Croatia, Greece and Spain often have a sad reality: street dogs and cats roaming the streets, lonely and abandoned. Despite the idyllic ambience, these animals fight for survival every day. It is a fate that touches the heart. Many tourists cannot resist the begging furry noses and are tempted to feed the strays. But this often has fatal consequences.
