Infidelity
What protects against infidelity in a relationship and what doesn’t
"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" is the golden rule, but it is often disregarded in the case of infidelity. Those who cheat are punished with retaliatory sex. What helps to prevent it from getting that far in the first place, and what doesn't - Krone+ reveals.
When it comes to infidelity, the sexes are finally in agreement: according to a representative study of 1,000 Austrians by the dating portal Parship, one in four has been unfaithful at least once, and the same number of men as women.
However, the reasons for this are varied and differ depending on gender: While women say they were unhappy with their relationship or wanted to feel desired, for men the allure of something new was tempting and sexual dissatisfaction was the deciding factor.
