The current weather makes it difficult even for meteorologists to make accurate forecasts. Many people can tell you a thing or two about this, having checked their cell phones for rain windows in the past few days and then getting drenched. But why is that? It has become a habit for many people to check the weather on their cell phone using a (usually free) app. But over the past few days, most people have been in for a - mostly wet - surprise. For local meteorologists, however, this is no coincidence.
