Tractor accident still haunts club

Eleven months ago, a driverless "ghost tractor" crashed into the clubhouse of the tennis club in Pfaffing without braking. Members who were sitting on the terrace barely survived. So far, there is only a temporary solution, a community is resisting a planned new building.

Only a few minutes and centimetres prevented a tragedy on June 1, 2023. As reported at the time, a runaway tractor crashed into the UTC Pfaffing-Vöcklamarkt clubhouse without braking. The men's shower area was completely destroyed, while the club members sitting on the terrace behind it escaped with a scare.
