2.54 per mille! Cyclist caused a collision

This Salzburg cyclist was clearly no longer in control of his bike! On Saturday evening, a 47-year-old man caused an accident with a 79-year-old cyclist in the city. Both were injured.

The drunk 47-year-old was riding his bike on the footpath and cycle path on Giselakai shortly before 7pm. A 79-year-old cyclist noticed the unsafe cyclist in oncoming traffic. The pensioner was unable to take evasive action, the two cyclists collided and crashed. The 47-year-old's breathalyzer test showed 2.54 per mille. Both cyclists had to be taken to hospital with minor injuries.
