Cozy nights in an oversized wine barrel

The new wine barrel chalets at Winzerhof Küssler in Stillfried near Grub an der March are the next step: former press houses have been stylishly converted into fully-fledged accommodation in which up to four people can sleep comfortably.

Establishing the Weinviertel as a nearby taste and landscape experience in the Vienna-Brno-Bratislava tri-city region has always been the goal of tourism experts. One way is to create high-quality accommodation in and around the cellar lanes and to focus on wine tourism experiences.

Over the next few years, new accommodation is to be built in and around the Kellergassen. The aim is to make Austria's largest wine-growing region an even better experience for guests from Austria and abroad. In the middle of the March floodplains, surrounded by vineyards, tastings in the nearby 300-year-old cellar vault and a candlelight dinner with Heurigen delicacies round off the offer.
