A mayor from the district of Braunau is facing serious accusations. He is said to apply double standards when it comes to dedications and give preference to family members. He is said to have harassed the head of a real estate company for three years before making him an "immoral offer".

For over three years, a real estate developer from Hallein has been fighting for the rezoning of around 9,000 square meters of green space into building land in the Ostermiething settlement area. Late but nevertheless, ÖVP mayor Gerhard Holzner gave him the green light. "I can't accept the offer," the entrepreneur is shocked.
