This is how much pensions will rise next year

Retirement benefits will rise sharply for around 2.3 million pensioners next year. The basis for this is the recent high inflation in Austria. We list what this means in concrete terms for individuals and why there is good news for over 100,000 new pensioners.

Pensioners already received an increase of 9.7 percent this year, as the relevant inflation rate was also 9.7 percent. However, there was nothing extra on top in view of the amount. The government has now announced the figures for the 2025 pension increase, which will once again be generous.
