Harsh accusations after horror accident at Voest

A 51-year-old worker was seriously injured during shunting work on the Voest site and lost his lower left leg and front right foot. A former employee now denounces the working conditions on site in an interview with "Krone".

It was a tragic accident that would probably never have come to public attention if it hadn't been for the Krone article in Tuesday's edition. As reported, and as confirmed by the police the next day, a 51-year-old Bosnian from St. Nikola was seriously injured at around 2.30 a.m. on Sunday during shunting work. The man severed his lower left leg and front right foot.
