Real estate deal: up to 50 million euros at stake

Expert in custody, lawyer in the sights of the public prosecutor's office: the nephew and sole heir to a Pasching estate is now going on the offensive with the help of his lawyer. The effort is likely to pay off for him, as he has a real estate "jackpot" of a whopping 50 million euros at stake.

There is a lot of money at stake, as the lawyer of the man who inherited an agricultural estate in the middle of Pasching in Upper Austria confirms. The property is 38 hectares (380,000 square meters) in size. "The other side assumes a value of 50 million euros, we think it's half that," says Linz lawyer Jürgen Nowotny.
