28 or 29 degrees, even the 30 mark could fall on Sunday. It will only cool down a little due to Saharan dust.

It should be summery in Carinthia from Sunday onwards. "Whether in Upper or Lower Carinthia: it will be 28 or 29 degrees Celsius. It should be very warm, especially in the Klagenfurt basin and the Villach area. But we meteorologists only call temperatures above 30 degrees hot. These are heat days. But even this mark could fall on Sunday. That would be quite possible," says Andreas Demel from the Ubimet weather service.

"So it's too warm for this time of year, far too warm. We usually measure 15 or 16 degrees at the beginning of April. The plants will be irritated," says Demel. Not quite as warm, but also summery weather is expected in East Tyrol.

It should remain similarly warm on Monday. "But not up to 30 degrees, because the Sahara dust will make it 2 to 3 degrees cooler. The clouds will dampen the warming."

On Tuesday, the meteorologist expects 24 to 26 degrees, on Wednesday he expects a low pressure system and thus 19 to 22 degrees Celsius. For next weekend, however, Demel is already predicting 25 to 26 degrees again.
