Pythons, crocodiles or bouquets - barbecue world champion Patrick Bayer has had them all on his barbecue. Nevertheless, the master of the tongs prefers local products. At the start of the new barbecue season, the Burgenland native served up a few delicacies for the Krone+ team in his show kitchen and was also on hand to answer tricky questions.

Have you ever tried a mojito with grilled lime slices? A recommendation from award-winning bartender Sigrid Schot that should definitely be followed. "Grilled pineapple is also perfect for cocktails," she revealed at the presentation of new products from BBQ world market leader Weber to the sounds of Viennese saxophonist Ben Führer. But it wasn't just at the bar that eyes widened as the presentation progressed. The barbecue experts could hardly get enough of the new models either.
