Lawyer: “The babies and I are a good team”

At the end of last year, Liane Hirschbrich's little triplets were taken away from her by the youth welfare office for more than a week. Since then, life has returned to normal for the Viennese lawyer. How she now manages children and her job.

"To this day," says Liane Hirschbrich, "I still feel tense when I hear the doorbell." Whether in her apartment or in her office in the center of Vienna.

This tension is a result of the drama she had to endure in December. When youth welfare workers came to her home, rang the doorbell - and then took Sarah, Caroline and Christian away. Her beloved triplets, whom she had given birth to on October 8, 2023.
