Mbappe’s transfer decision will be made before the European Championships

Now it could suddenly happen very quickly after all! Kylian Mbappe believes that the decision on his future club will be made before EURO 2024 in Germany (June 14 to July 14).

"I think my future will be clear before the European Championship," said the French star on Friday evening, one day before the international match against Germany. The 25-year-old's contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires at the end of the season and, according to media reports, Mbappe could continue his career at Real Madrid.

He is expected to earn around 20 million euros a year net with the Whites. This would make him David Alaba's top earner. The ÖFB legionnaire's salary is rumored to be 22.56 million euros (albeit gross), followed by Jude Bellingham (20.04 million). Before the three stars kick off for the Whites, however, Mbappe and Alaba will go head-to-head at the EURO.

Direct duels
The striker will face Austria with the French at the European Championship on June 17 in Düsseldorf. After the continental finals, he would also like to take part in the Olympic soccer tournament in France in the summer, explained Mbappe.
