Binge eating: when eating ends in loss of control

Nowhere in Austria are there as many obese people as in Burgenland. What are the causes? And what help is available? 

There is probably no addiction that is more insidious than binge eating. After all, eating is a basic need - we can't avoid it. Moreover, from a neurobiological point of view, the same processes take place in the brain as in the case of an addict who is fixated on alcohol, drugs or gambling.
