Cycling star Felix Gall extended his contract with the French World Tour team Decathlon-AG2R ahead of schedule on Saturday for a further year until 2026. The 26-year-old Tyrolean is looking forward to continuing his collaboration: "We have big plans together."

One day before the start of Paris-Nice, cycling star Felix Gall was able to celebrate a success at the negotiating table. The French World Tour team Decathlon-AG2R announced on Saturday that it had extended its contract with the Tyrolean climber by a further year until 2026.

New sporting home
The former junior world champion has been riding for the team since 2022, and Austria's athlete of the year has found a new sporting home: "I've grown since I joined the team and have learned a lot. I see my future there in the longer term because I feel very comfortable there."
